Interviews starring your child: A collage of personal development.

We have started a fun yearly tradition – interviewing our kids around the same time each year – a birthday, new year’s, etc…  Just grab a big sheet of paper and write down a bunch of simple questions.  Sit down with your child when everyone is patient rested and fed, and start asking!  Kind of like a yearly check-up at the doctor, but more fun  ; )

I ask simple questions like: What is your favorite thing to do, What would you want your name to be if you could change it, Who is your favorite person to play with, What is your favorite color, What do you want to be when you grow up, What is your favorite food…

These simple questions paint a sweet picture of how your child thinks, especially in retrospect.
